Giacomo & Slick

I know I’m supposed to have a professional head shot and be standing against a tree or in front of a fireplace with my arm resting on the mantel, but…that’s not me. So here I am, with one of my favorite dogs of all time—Slick. (Please don’t tell the other dogs I said that.)

As far as background, I’ve been a headhunter for 30 years, doing retained searches in the medical device/diagnostics & biotech/pharma industries. I have completed more than 500 searches, which translates into evaluating, editing, and writing thousands of resumes. I’ve also interviewed and done reference checks on more than 1,000 candidates. What does all that mean? It means I’ve seen a lot of crazy…stuff.

Getting back to the bio—when I’m not headhunting, or writing, I help my wife take care of our animal sanctuary. At last count we had 45 animals—11 dogs, 1 horse, 6 cats, and 26 pigs.

Oh, and one crazy—and very large—wild boar named Dennis who takes walks with me every day and happens to also be my best buddy.
